Working with Automatic Pauses

/ / Troubleshooting & General Support

Liberty Player provides an automatic-pause mode for more effective transcription. When enabled, this feature
plays a recording, pauses the playback, and then resumes the playback. This play/pause/play cycle continues for the
duration of the file playback. You can use this feature to automatically pause the playback at certain intervals to allow
you to catch up in transcribing. In some cases, this can eliminate the need for a foot pedal or the use of hot keys to
control playback.

However, most users don’t need to use this feature and find it can get accidentally enabled.

This video will show you how to enable/disable this feature and to remove it from the toolbar.
